About
Teresa Haag

For 15 years, Teresa has been selling her art professionally full time, producing 25 Days of Minis - a wildly successful online holiday art show, running her own gallery and studio in Downtown Phoenixville, PA, and helping other artists grow their businesses.

Prior to that, Teresa worked as a sales rep and sales trainer for a Bausch + Lomb. Her time there taught her how to sell, how to manage a large portfolio of accounts, and how to teach the sales process to new sales reps.

When she left her job in 2011 to pursue her art and raise her two boys, she was able to draw on all she learned from her corporate days to create an art business that would grow to over 100K in just a few years.

It wasn’t long before other artists were asking for tips and advice when it came to their art business, and she quickly realized that loved helping other artists and wanted to figure out a way to do more of it.

NO REGRETS

We get one life. I was put here to make art. I know you were too.

Society told us that artists starve.

I believed this. And decided to go all in anyway.

And it has been hard sometimes. Maybe not starving hard (those of you who know me know that I’m definitely not starving).

But crying on the way home from a show that didn’t go as I had hoped hard.

Talking to strangers in the beating sun for hours hard.

Setting up in the pouring rain hard.

Writing emails only for people to unsubscribe hard.

Getting rejections from shows I really really wanted to get invited to hard.

Remembering to pay my sales tax hard.

I did it because after working in corporate for years only to want to make my art…I knew that the discomfort of being a professional artist was no where near the discomfort of not getting to be a professional artist.

And that is true for you as well. And the good news is, I’ve done the work and learned the things so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
